Pirotta Services was awarded the construction project of La Trobe University’s Agora East Radio Station and Media Learning Centre. Situated in the heart of La Trobe University grounds, we constructed the space based on the design we received from the client but were also required to complete the design of the new double glazed window structure to meet the acoustic requirements of the radio station. The project involved engagement, co-ordination and design elements of trade works such as glazing, facade steel work, electrical and communications works, mechanical services, fire services, flooring and wall finishes and audio visual installation. La Trobe University now has a functional radio station that their students can use.
