Pirotta Services Commercial was tasked to fitout the Agora East I & O Hub area by splitting a shop tenancy in two, whilst the tenant was still operating and also create another space in the vicinity where students and staff can seek campus information. Our team completed the project in two stages. In the first stage, the team worked on the shopfront by splitting the shop into two and replacing the shopfronts, ceilings and concealment of the electrical communication cabling to the new island hub desks. The second stage, they designed and fitout the student and information hub. The project involved engagement, co-ordination and design elements of trade works such as, electrical and communications works, mechanical services, fire services, flooring and wall finishes and audio visual installation. La Trobe University now has a spacious shop front and practical information hub that their students and staff can use.
